Key Features
Flex™ Showerhead
Kelda’s Flex™ showerhead features 12 patented MACRO-Jet™ nozzles, each designed to create a perfect stream of water with large MACRO droplets. The head is manufactured from high impact strength engineering thermoplastic for enhanced durability, and fixed at the perfect angle to provide optimum spray performance – with all hair types accounted for.
TMV2 Approved
Intuitive operation allows users to control the water flow at the turn of the dial. Kelda SafeTemp™ technology ensures safe hot water temperature and prevents any unwanted temperature changes. Family-friendly, hot water is limited to a maximum temperature of 38° C to prevent scalding.
Premium Materials
Our components are manufactured using premium, high grade materials. Assembled here in the UK, our concealed Void Shower Fixed Head Systems are robust and durable. This means that they require minimal maintenance, due to their superior design and build. Interested in more information? Request a quote and a member of our team will be in touch.
Efficient Cleaning
Compared to standard mixer showers, Kelda’s MACRO droplets are significantly larger – yielding greater momenta. This gives the sensation of higher spray pressure. With 15X more impact than a standard shower droplet a Kelda shower is more effective at rinsing shampoo out of even the thickest of hair.
Sustainable Showering
Standard mixer showers waste water, a precious resource. A Kelda shower uses 5 litres per minute of water compared to an average shower that uses 10. This means half the water and energy and therefore fewer carbon emissions. A Kelda shower makes less water feel like so much more.
Immersive Experience
Imagine a shower that is designed for you and the planet. A Kelda shower atomises water into 100s of perfectly engineered MACRO droplets to ensure you feel every single one of them. We may use less water to help conserve the world’s most precious resource but we haven’t compromised on experience.
Advanced Technology
Air-Powered™
Kelda’s patented Air-Powered™ technology is drawn from decades of cutting-edge aerospace technology. Water is injected into a high velocity air stream where it is broken up into 100s of MACRO droplets that are 2.5X the size of a standard shower – making less water feel like so much more.
MACRO-Jet™ Nozzles
Kelda’s showerhead comprises an array of 12 specially engineered MACRO-Jet™ nozzles. A larger core diameter produces larger MACRO droplets – providing better thermal stability and rinsing performance. Larger nozzles also improve operational reliability as they are less likely to block and accumulate limescale.
KSMART Microprocessor
A digital microprocessor controls the optimum ratio of water and air to the showerhead for the ultimate Kelda shower experience. Kelda’s optional Shower Monitoring And Recording Technology (KSMART) can collect data on water consumption for intelligent building management systems (IBMS).
Air-Protect™
To reduce the risk of water stagnation and prevent bacterial growth Kelda’s showerhead features a single-mode spray plate with fixed spray and no moving parts. For added safety Kelda also utilises it’s Air-Protect™ technology to blow air through the showerhead after each and every use.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the flow rate of a Kelda shower?
A Kelda shower is designed to operate at 5 litres per minute (5 l/min) but thanks to the innovative Air-Powered™ technology, it feels like so much more.
How do Air-Powered™ showers work?
Conventional ‘aerating’ showers use the Venturi principle to restrict flow and draw atmospheric air into the water through a small hole in the showerhead. This is a very cheap way to reduce the mass flow of water, and aerate it to change the ‘feel’ of the shower, but has no measurable boost in force or performance, regardless of flow rate.
In contrast, Kelda’s patented Air-Powered™ showers use the principles of fuel injection technology. Each shower features an intelligent microprocessor and powerful digital fan which controls the delivery of water and air to the showerhead. Within the showerhead, water is injected into a high-velocity air stream where it is broken up into 100s of droplets that are 2.5X the size of a standard shower. Larger droplets yield larger momenta providing the sensation of more spray pressure, making less water feel like so much more. With 15X more impact than a standard shower, a Kelda shower is more effective at rinsing shampoo out of even the thickest of hair.
Can I replace my mixer shower with a Kelda shower?
A Kelda shower has been designed to simply replace a conventional bar mixer shower. The hot and cold feed to the thermostatic mixer are set at 150mm centres, similar to a standard bar mixer shower for easy retrofit. An electrical supply is required to power the fan. Installation of this product must be carried out in accordance with these instructions by qualified, competent personnel. Please refer to the Instruction Manual for further guidance.
How do I clean my Kelda shower?
Every Kelda shower is designed using premium materials such as optical white glass and stainless steel providing a sleek design. It is designed to provide years of enjoyment but without regular cleaning, a combination of dirt, soap scum, limescale and mould can build-up and affect operation.
To help keep your Kelda shower in good working condition you should aim to clean once a week and a deep clean once a month. These will help you remove awkward limescale and prevent its build-up.
Shower Head
Limescale build up around the nozzles in your shower head not only looks unsightly, but can also affect water flow. A simple fix is to remove the showerhead components, insert into a sealable plastic bag or container and fully immerse in vinegar for at least 30 minutes. Afterwards remove and give the nozzles a quick brush or wipe to remove any remaining deposits. Finally, rinse with water and refit. Please refer to the Instruction Manual for assembly instructions.
Please Note
During regular cleaning of the shower area, do not direct a water hose at the shower head while the shower is functioning. It’s important to keep in mind that some everyday cleaners contain harsh chemical components that should not be applied directly to the surface of the shower.
