Award Winning Technologies

From Kelda Showers

Our remarkable success in this competition has earned us the opportunity to have our technology considered for a potential pilot project by Lloyds Banking Group, in line with their goal to achieve Net Zero carbon operations by 2030.

The competition extended an invitation to green tech innovators and providers of low carbon solutions, like ourselves, to showcase their products. The winner of the award receives an opportunity to become a Lloyds Banking Group supplier.

Among more than 200 applicants who participated in a pitching competition, Kelda emerged as one of the five chosen businesses!

“It’s been amazing to see the quality and number of applicants we’ve had for this year’s competition. It’s testament to the innovation we’re seeing across the UK, as companies develop impactful green technology solutions. We’re very much looking forward to working with this year’s winners to support us with our own ambitious sustainability goals.”
Daniel CoakleySustainability Manager, Lloyds Banking Group.

Our Air-Powered ™ and BubbleSpa ® technologies entered the competition. These products harness the power of air and water to significantly reduce carbon emissions, energy usage and water consumption.

This competition was run inline with Lloyds’ ambition to attain net zero carbon operations by 2030, as well as Wates Group’s commitment to achieving net zero by 2045.

Since the beginning of this partnership in 2018, Lloyds has successfully piloted eight sustainable technologies.
